Hey All! It's been a little while and I thought I'd give a little update. Things here at MissNissCraftworks have been insanely busy. I've had many special orders from some lovely Moms for an amigurumi bunny I've designed. I like to call him 'Garden Bunny,' but to those who have asked for him he's Harry the Bunny since he looks like a character from a beloved baby/children's show. I'm debating whether or not I'll put him up for sale permanently in the shop and/or sell the pattern. All in dear time! Another exciting update is that I will be doing a craft show this April. It's a fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes, and since I have a little cousin who has it I figured it'd be a perfect fit. I'll have a plethora of new designs for spring at the time, so I'm hopeful for a good show! My only challenge is to create a kick-butt set up in order to compete with actual vendors who will be there (think pampered chef, tupperware, etc.) I have some good ideas, though. I just need to find and make a few things to get it pulled together. Look for an article on that!
I will also be considering attending the Aledo Rhubarb Festival in June. It's a big event and I hear is quite fun! Some of the new things I'll be rolling out this spring include a self designed line of luxury loufas (scrubbies ... I haven't quite decided what to call them), make up removers, and washcloths. Bluebirds, Goldfinches, and Robins will be welcomed back once I finish them, including nests and eggs for children's play! The felt dahlia (flower) barrettes are already back in shop with a few new colors and sets. So fun for Spring! For now that's about it! I better get back to crocheting bunnies ;)
