I believe spring is upon us! Well, at least where I live. My friends and family back home got snow, we just got rain. I feel a bit sorry for them, but since that is not where we live, not so much. Along with the rain I've noticed quite a few more obvious signs of spring. On Saturday, I saw robins. Red breast and all! The cardinals who live in the thickets at forest around our home are singing out their mating calls. The canes of our hedge are turning green. Finally, my tulips and daffodils are either peaking through or have grown at least an inch or two! My husband and I also spent most of yesterday setting up our grow stand in the kitchen. Last year we put it in the basement. This year we decided that wasn't the best idea, because last year it ended up being an 'out of sight out of mind' thing and we neglected some of our young sprouts a bit. Meaning: some plants got leggy. :/ This year I don't want that to happen! In addition to setting up the grow stands we sowed quite a few varieties of flowers. They'll all take a while to germinate, so don't worry they're on schedule! I'm excited to see little green seedlings in a week or two. You can see our set up and more at my hubby's blog Sheltering Woods. If you haven't noticed, even MissNissCraftworks' avatar has With all this spring coming to fruition I thought I'd share some flower tutorials that I truly like. I love peer sharing! Especially when I don't have everything of mine quite ready to share. :) Hope you like these flowers, I sure do.

Have you ever thought of doing coats for dogs/puppies? I bought my first dog, a miniature Shih Tzu we named Cinders. It has been almost impossible to find anything for her this winter. My brother thinks the world is coming to an end because I bought a dog, but I was LED to do it and she has changed our lives! Hope all is well with you & yours, Jeri

I actually have considered making animal coats. I am fully capable. I just haven't I guess. Maybe that's something I'll have to look into soon. Thanks for the comment, Jeri! Hope you all are doing well, too, and now Cinders! I'd love to see a picture of the 'pup' someday.
