![]() This is my first official blog post for the Miss Niss Craftworks blog! I am pretty darn excited to have started it and hope all of you out there will enjoy it, too. I started this blog as a way to further promote my new business. Blogging isn't new to me, since I started one with my husband a couple years ago called Cents to Share which is becoming decently popular. I still occasionally offer some gems to the website, but right now it's not in the foreground of our lives. Since the weather is beginning to get significantly cooler where I live I thought I'd give you a special look at the baby booties I make. The pattern is an adaption of a similar pattern I once saw. It's a relatively easy pattern in which you knit a flat fabric and sew it all together! I make the entire booty out of yarn so that little buttons can't be pulled off by baby and swallowed. Note the cute spiral yarn buttons and the decorative shoe laces. They really add a lot to the booties themselves. I was thinking about it, these booties would have been perfect for your kiddo this Halloween to keep his or her feet warm! Oh well, there's always a Holiday gift or birthday. :) Fun Fact: I can also make slipper booties for adults. I recently had a special order that asked for this, so I took the time to make up a pattern for the recipient and they turned out great! I'll post more about those another day. For now, enjoy these cute booties. Click on the picture to take you to the store and/or leave a comment below! Happy Halloween, stay safe and have fun! *Below is the sizing chart I use for the babies.*
